Why hello everyone.
Kess here, though, I hope you wouldn't expect anyone else. Or maybe I hope you do. As long as you're happy.

I've been doing well. I've got a job now. My very first job. Yes, I'm 18, 19 in august and I've just got my first job. Thats pretty bad right? Oh well. I guess I'm just lazy.

No one seems to like to read journals anymore. Maybe it's just me and my lazy habits, but I have a terrible tendency to just sweep by them if they don't look interesting. Obviously if you're reading this, either you're browsing my page and caught a glimpse, or you've clicked on the title. So, right now, Thank you for not sweeping on by.

And thats it for a long introduction, why not go on to a real topic.
College is expensive. (I'm out of state)
Reeeeheally. Reeeheally expensive... and I feel terrible about making my parents reach into savings to scoot me through. They've worked and strived for that money, what right have I to it. I should work and strive for my own. Which is one reason I got the job. Now, obviously, working at a little above minimum wage, is not going to get me alot. Maybe a couple thousand if I'm lucky. That'll get me dorm money and books.
I'm not too keen on taking out a loan until I have to. I'll be in debt up to my eyebrows later, but why not postpone it for a while... if I can.

Which brings me to the second topic, supplementing my income. I'm looking into scholarships, but I'm also thinking about taking commissions.

I donno if anyone really watches me anymore, or if anyone really would take a commission from me or not, but I'm thinking it might be an option. As you can see, I haven't really been getting alot of art done. I assure you, I've had the time to do it. I just havn't had the motivation. I'd like some of that. I'd like it alot.
(I'd also like to write a book, but thats not happening any time soon.)
So, why not nab two proverbial birds with one proverbial stone?


I'm not sure if I'm actually going to do it or not. Take commissions, that is, but I thought I'd try this first.
To get me started doing art again, I'm going to take requests. If anyone has one, lay it on me. I'll only take a few, unfortunately and I can't promise promptness, but they will get done. Also, I'm not limited to just one thing or another. I'm lacking skill in robots, but I can draw just about anything else.

I really do enjoy drawing. Maybe not coloring so much, but I do enjoy drawing. Perhaps we could help each other.
